Cousins are sooooo fun!
I didn't mean to disappear from blogger world for two weeks, but it just happened... Joel was sick with fever and sore throat for a week, Kelly had a soccer tournament, then Nate and Kelly started with the fever. After a week of sick kids, Marci and her family came to visit. We have had so much fun. We have been to the beach a couple times, the pool, the NC Maritime Museum (good activity on a rainy day), and putt-putt. We have all been fighting over who gets to hold Reagan. She has been so cute. She is quick to smile and coo at us. Marci's kids and mine have had so much fun together. Next week Katherine and her family will be here. We are excited to have them come. We don't get to see them as often because we live too far away from each other. I have decided that the bond with cousins is a special one.

Nice to have you back. That is so awful when one of the kids gets sick and then they all do. Not fun. All of my kids and my sister's kids are very close, and it's the greatest! I never had close cousins growing up, and it's true, there is a special bond. Enjoy them while you have them. One day we may show up on your doorstep for the NC tour!
When Heather comes on her tour I want to come too ... and I want to be cool like a cousin, even though I'm not. Your cousin, I mean.
Glad you're back and glad you got to have so much fun. Cousins are the BEST!
