Every year Jared has a conference in Myrtle Beach were he can earn CEU's for the year. It is a fun place to take the kids and relax for the weekend. The weather was great this year. Actually, a little too hot. But we are not complaining since last year we experienced a Tropical Storm while we were there. We spent a lot of time at the pool, and at the water park which is at the resort. We also went to the Ripley's Aquarium and did a little shopping at the Outlet Mall, Broadway at the Beach, and Barefoot Landing shops. Grandpa Dean would be proud because Jared and I taught Kelly and Nate how to play HEARTS! They are now true Allens. Now they ask us every night if we can play hearts! They have caught the bug. They are actually pretty good at it.

That is awesome! I don't even know where Myrtle Beach is, but it looks like a blast! Where you live is so foreign to me and my fam. With all the beautiful beach pictures it looks like you live in a vacation. One day don't be surprised if we show up on your doorstep to experience your vacation life.
Heather! I would love for you to come visit! You are welcome anytime. We love living on the coast of NC. We have not been getting to Utah often enough. My mom is wanting a visit. It is so far and sooo expensive. We hope to come soon.
